Located in the heart of Wadi Rum majestic deserts with Its fully equipped 30 en-suite tents; each of 20 square meter size and an inside private bathroom; clean outlets , colorful carpets , low seating and Bedouin themes , stands the tremendous SunCity idyllic camp which is magnificently designed to offer the visitors of Wadi Rum all what their casual camping needs, leaving them to indulge into the authentic charm of the deserts.
In this stupendous, timeless camp, visitors will feel the simplicity and the authenticity of Wadi Rum , they can even feel the history carved by T.E. Lawrence; the audacious World War I British army officer who heroically united rival Arab desert tribes and led them to war against the mighty Turkish Empire.
Here, it is the weather and winds that have carved the imposing, towering skyscrapers, so elegantly described by T.E. Lawrence.
With an à la carte and buffet restaurant, Sun City Camp is located in Wadi Rum. It features a coffee shop and a 24-hour front desk.
Tents include a dining area and a private entrance. The bathroom is fitted with a bathtub or a shower.
Other facilities offered at the property include a tour desk. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including horse riding and hiking. There is evening entertainment.
If you feel like visiting the surroundings, check out Wadi Rum (12.2 km). The property offers free parking.

Food & Beverage
The most popular meal in Wadi Rum is “Zarb” a whole Lamb cooked under the sands of the desert , and It is always a main part of the regular dinner menu in SunCity Camp .
Our buffet menus are rich with various items of traditional, oriental and International dishes to include Arabic mezza and salads , pasta, grilled chicken ,fish, zarb, white rice , kufta , a wide selection of freshly SunCity backed bread ,ending with the Arabic desserts station.
Mansaf and Maqlobeh are also a well known traditional dishes , not only prepared by Bedouins during hosted lunches and dinners but also can be prepared in our camp upon request .
Arabic coffee and tea; sometime cooked on bonfire; are the main welcome drinks in Wadi Rum. Arabic coffee serving is a ceremony, rules of etiquette on this subject require the hostess to personally hand around the cups and then serve the coffee in a particular way , reflecting the genuine nature and the Bedouin hospitality in Wadi Rum.
Set menus , cocktail reception menus are also available for special events and upon request .
